Warranty policy

Limited warranty policy:  Universal Instrument Inc. warrants its equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship when used under normal operating conditions.

The warranty period is twelve (12) months, starting from the date of commissioning and limited to a maximum of fourteen (14) months from the date of shipment of the analyzer system, whichever period expires first.

Any warranty defects should be notified in writing during the applicable warranty period.

Universal Instrument Inc. will be free of charge for all repairs with exception of consumables, electrodes and parts in glass.  All visits will be charged on elapsed time, fares and expenses basis.

Our responsibility is towards the supply of repaired or replaced parts free of charge but does not include payment of any other duties, etc. which may become liable in the country of import. 

Return of equipment:  Any equipment for repair, whether in or out warranty, should be sent to Universal Instrument, Inc. or your local sales and service center.
